Selling Guide
Make a Good First Impression Make sure the entrance to the house is tidy, clean and free of any weeds. Your front door should be clean and re-paint if needed; people viewing your property will often judge the house on the entrance alone.
De-Clutter Remove unnecessary clutter. This is a really important thing to do and will make your property look so much better to your viewers.
Decoration If possible re-paint your house using neutral colours and move all family photographs and anything really personal or unusual, you are trying to make your property appeal to as many people as possible.
Space You are trying to create theimpression of space so if you have any item of furniture or anything which takes up a lot of room store it elsewhere.
Be Positive Be care ful not to say anything negative about your property. eg. like the tiles need grouting etc. Also make sure you are not too pushy as this will put people off. Be honest when your viewers ask you any questions. If there are good ameneties nearby, places to walk, parks etc.tell your viewers.
Light and Heat If you are selling your house in the winter try and get your viewers to come in the day time. Make sure it isn't too cold as when your viewers enter this will be one of the first things they notice and will leave a bad impression.
